A fantastic SEN Primary School located in Rochford are looking for a KS1 or KS2 teacher that is available for a full-time teacher to join their team immediately.
This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday, 8.30AM – 4PM) working with Key Stage 1 & 2 pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), complex needs, and sensory impairments. The school is committed to helping you succeed in your role and grow your career in SEN education.
Pay can be fairly negotiated based on experience. They are open to full-time, and there’s a real culture of team-work and togetherness.
It’s a very active and fast paced role, so they are looking for really passionate, motivated and enthusiastic Teachers who have a can-do attitude and will go above and beyond for the pupils.
The ideal Teacher must:
- Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience supporting children with SEN, either 1:1 or in class
- Training or knowledge of Makaton, PECS, or Team Teach (preferred)
- Passion, flexibility, and patience when working with SEN pupils
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to working full-time
