We are looking for a Bar Staff member who can take full control of day to day running of the bar.
** You must hold a Personal License to sell alcohol to be considered for this role. **
We run major live music events and the bar moves at pace, so you need to be confident working in a high energy environment.
The ideal candidate understands bar management inside out, knows how to set and hit targets, and brings a positive, team driven attitude. Strong product knowledge across beers, wines, and spirits is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out regular stock takes, place orders, and track stock levels
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and ensure all health and safety regulations are met
- Manage deliveries, beer lines, and cellar conditions
- Stay up to date with licensing legislation and liaise with relevant authorities
- Work within budgets, maximise profitability, and manage cash flow
- Work with door/security staff and handle difficult customer situations
- Minimise and investigate any cash or stock discrepancies
Main Tasks:
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
- Meet, greet, and serve customers professionally and quickly
- Change kegs, take deliveries, and restock the bar
- Serve drinks, clear tables, and maintain a clean environment
- Support preparation and delivery of large live music events
- Work closely with the wider venue management team
- Report any damage or equipment issues
Criteria:
- 2+ years bar or hospitality management experience (preferred)
- Must hold a valid Personal Licence
- Driving licence preferred
