CONSTRUCTION CLEANER
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Location: Sheffield-based – working on sites across the UK
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week, with additional hours depending on workload
Contract: Permanent
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Construction Cleaner to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on, field-based role working across construction sites, refurbishment projects and commercial properties. No two weeks are necessarily the same, so we need someone who is flexible, reliable and happy to travel.
The Role
Your work will include:
- Builders cleans, re-cleans and sparkle cleans on construction and refurbishment projects
- Cleaning live construction sites and completed areas ready for handover
- Cleaning site welfare facilities, including toilets, canteens and offices
- Commercial cleaning, including offices, warehouses and communal areas
- Deep cleaning and general cleaning as required
- Working safely around other trades on active sites
- Following site-specific health & safety procedures and RAMS
- Maintaining a high standard of cleaning and presentation at all times
Essential Requirements
You must have:
- Valid CSCS Card
- Full UK manual driving licence and be confident driving manual vehicles
- Ability and willingness to travel to sites across the UK
- Flexibility around start and finish times depending on site requirements
- A reliable and punctual approach to work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confidence working in active construction and refurbishment environments
Previous construction or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, but full training will be provided.
Hours & Travel
This role offers a minimum of 30 hours per week, with additional hours regularly available depending on project requirements.
Our work takes us to sites across Sheffield, Yorkshire and nationwide. Some projects may involve up to 2 hours' travel each way.
For projects further afield, overnight accommodation will be arranged and paid for by the company.
