Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our premises, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is advantageous, but a strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential. Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities according to established standards
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organised manner
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy and presentable at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or janitorial services is preferred but not essential
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team setting
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is desirable but training will be provided
