Job brief
We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction working between the hours of 8am-1pm Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a rota basis. Hours may vary on occasion, you would need to be able to cover for holidays and sick days as needed.
A good knowledge of Rotherham and the surrounding area would be considered a positive on application.
You will work closely with other drivers, arranging your own routes in a sensible manner.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and via different routes
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Collect payments
- Complete logs and reports
- Follow regulations and safety standards
Requirements
- Must be over 25
- Valid professional driver’s license
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.71 per hour
