Due to our rapid and exciting expansion, we are looking to recruit a specialist Production Controller / Planner to lead our Central Processing Team at our Head Office in Colindale.
Flexible hours available including weekend. To be considered for this role you must have:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work well under pressure , lead and develop support the factory processes.
Lead, manage, organise and develop a team to 50.
10 years experience in a management role
The role:
- Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products
- Plan and prioritise operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
- Determine manpower, raw materials needed to cover production demand
- Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations
- Schedule shift according to production needs
- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
- Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
- Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives/damdages etc.)
- Prepare and submit status and performance reports
- Keep paperwork organized
- Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other staff
- Inspecting machinery and reporting any faults to management and workers.
- Identifying faults and troubleshooting wherever possible.
- Analyzing performance and products, then making suitable recommendations.
- Scheduling training sessions as required.
- Establishing high-quality standards and ensuring they are implemented by workers.
- Regularly educating staff members on health and safety regulations.
- Implementing preventative maintenance methods.
- Staying up-to-date with efficient methods of production and equipment maintenance procedures.
