Responsibilities
- Manage daily operational activities, including coordinating vehicle movements and ensuring timely deliveries
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment to guarantee optimal performance and safety
- Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly to transport goods between locations or to designated sites
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and external partners to facilitate smooth operations
- Oversee the management of inventory and supplies related to transportation activities
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, maintenance schedules, and operational logs
- Support safety protocols by identifying potential hazards and reporting issues promptly
Experience
- Proven experience in management or supervisory roles within logistics or transportation environments
- Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance and basic repair tasks
- Valid driving license suitable for operating company vehicles; additional certifications are a plus
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively across teams and external contacts
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, inspecting equipment, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards relevant to transportation operations
