We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join a reputable main dealership in Gerrards Cross. Duties of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
- Carrying out routine service checks and repairs efficiently
- Performing diagnostic procedures to identify faults accurately
- Conducting MOT tests, subject to holding a current MOT license
- Undertaking vehicle road tests to ensure proper operation
- Assisting colleagues and providing technical support where necessary
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed in compliance with dealership standards
Requirements for the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician role:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (City & Guilds recognised)
- Proven diagnostic and technical skills, with the ability to handle complex repairs
- Confidence in conducting repairs and maintenance across a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Full UK driving licence
- MOT license advantageous but not essential
- Own tools are a must
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills
