Halo Domiciliary Care is looking for an ambitious, experienced, and motivated Registered Care Manager who is passionate about delivering high-quality care while growing a successful domiciliary care service.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day running of the domiciliary care service.
* Maintain full CQC compliance and ensure high standards of care.
* Lead, support, and develop care staff.
* Deliver in-house induction and mandatory training.
* Act as the Train the Trainer lead for staff development.
* Complete regular spot checks, supervisions, competency assessments, and annual appraisals.
* Carry out quality assurance audits and implement continuous improvements.
* Participate in the on-call rota and provide management support when required.
* Recruit, interview, and retain high-quality care staff.
* Develop relationships with local authorities, NHS teams, case managers, hospitals, and other referral sources.
* Identify and secure new care packages and contracts.
* Prepare and submit council, NHS, and private sector tenders.
* Promote the business and build partnerships to increase referrals.
* Work towards achieving business growth targets while maintaining outstanding care quality.
* Monitor KPIs, occupancy, staffing levels, and financial performance.
* Ensure all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements are met.
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience as a Registered Care Manager or Deputy Manager within domiciliary care.
* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and legislation.
* Experience in staff recruitment, supervision, and performance management.
* Experience delivering or coordinating staff training.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and make decisions confidently.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards it).
* Experience with council framework applications and tender submissions.
* Proven track record of growing a domiciliary care business.
* Existing relationships with commissioners or healthcare professionals would be an advantage.
