Thank you for your interest in working at The John Roan School. We are a large mixed secondary school which joined the United Learning group of schools in September 2019 and, supported by the expertise and guidance that has brought us, are rapidly improving outcomes for students. Ofsted graded us as a ‘Good’ school in October 2023 and as we continue our school improvement programme, we are looking for people who share our values and passionately believe that all children can achieve, no matter what their starting point, background or needs.
The Role
We are seeking a skilled and ambitious colleague who embodies our values at The John Roan School. As a middle leader, you will play a leading role in the curriculum from Year 7 to Year 13, ensuring it is coherent, expertly taught and enriched with high-quality resources. You will contribute to the wellbeing and development of the school by teaching, inspiring, guiding, and caring for students inside and outside the classroom. You will ensure that all students make outstanding progress and achieve targets and fully implementing policies and procedures.
