Duties Include:
- Iron and press a wide variety of domestic garments and household linens (including shirts, dresses, and bedding) to an exceptionally high standard
- Assess different fabric types (such as silk, cotton, linen, and delicates) to select the correct temperature settings and ironing techniques, preventing damage or scorching
- Inspect finished items thoroughly for any missed creases, spots, or imperfections before folding or hanging them according to customer preferences
- Manage and prioritize a daily workload of customer baskets effectively, ensuring all orders are completed to perfection within established deadlines
- Safely operate and maintain commercial hand irons, steaming equipment, and ironing boards, reporting any faults promptly to ensure a safe working environment
- Carefully hang, fold, and package finished garments using protective covers to ensure they remain pristine
- Training is provided, but previous experience is a plus
- Minimum 18 Hours
- Shifts are set between 9 am and 3.30 pm
Pay: From £12.80 per hour
