An exciting opportunity to join our Bakery Team as a Bakery Team Leader has opened and we are seeking someone who is energetic and passionate about their craft.
You will be part of a friendly, hardworking, awesome team based in our bakery near Southampton Central train station.
Working hours are flexible, but we are looking for someone to work 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with the option of additional hours in the busy periods.

A bit about the role:
The Bakery Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bakery, ensuring baked goods are produced to the highest standard, and efficient staff management. This role involves supervising production, maintaining food safety standards, managing inventory, and driving innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations.
. Oversee day-to-day bakery operations, including opening and closing procedures.
. Ensure all baked goods meet quality, freshness, and presentation standards.
.Monitor production schedules to meet customer demand.
.Drive consistent innovation with fresh ideas and recipes.
Staff Supervision.
· Supervise bakery staff.
· Create employee schedules and manage costs.
· Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Inventory & Ordering
. Manage stock levels and order ingredients and supplies.
· Minimize waste and control costs.
· Work with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
Health & Safety Compliance.
· Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery.
· Conduct regular safety checks and staff training.
