We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to customers
- Plan delivery routes to optimise efficiency and timeliness
- Load and unload items, ensuring they are secured properly during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon receipt
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies during deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service by being professional, courteous, and punctual at all times
- Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained throughout the shift
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable, particularly with flatbed or commercial vehicles
- Proven driving skills with a clean driving record
- Good route planning and navigation skills
- Experience in handling goods safely during loading, transit, and unloading processes
- Strong awareness of health and safety and load security
