Kitchen & Bathroom Replacements
Firstcall Trade Services Ltd is looking for experienced plumbers to join our team for a major kitchen and bathroom replacement programme in occupied residential properties across Edinburgh.
Engagement: PAYE or self-employed
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
THE ROLE
You will carry out high-quality plumbing work as part of a multi-trade team delivering kitchen and bathroom replacements in Council homes. Properties will remain occupied during the works, so professionalism, good communication and respect for tenants are essential.
KEY DUTIES
- Removing and replacing kitchen and bathroom plumbing installations
- Installing sinks, taps, toilets, baths, shower trays and associated fittings
- Altering and renewing hot, cold and waste pipework as required
- Testing installations and checking for leaks
- Isolating and reconnecting water supplies safely
- Working efficiently with joiners, electricians, tilers and other trades
- Maintaining a clean, safe and considerate working environment in occupied homes
- Completing work to a consistently high standard and reporting unforeseen issues promptly
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Proven plumbing experience, including kitchen and bathroom installations
- Previous experience working in occupied homes
- Full driving licence and own reliable transport
- Own tools suitable for the work
- Good knowledge of relevant plumbing standards and safe working practices
- Reliable, organised and able to work effectively within a multi-trade team
- Professional and respectful approach when dealing with tenants and colleagues
Relevant plumbing qualifications are preferred. Applicants must be able to demonstrate suitable experience and competence.
