Responsibilities -
- Able to manage a team if needed.
- Do pre-site checks if required.
- Measure and quantify material to ensure optimised waste .
- Measure and install flooring materials to fit specific areas
- Install various types of flooring, including carpet, Vinyls , Safety flooring, and LVTs
- Prepare subfloors using various methods DPMs, Screeds, Plyboarding etc
- Comply with Health and safety guidelines.
- Follow drawing and programmes to ensure accurate installation
- Able to install flooring coverings to a very high standard.
- Trim and finish flooring edges for a clean and professional look
- Clean up work area and dispose of any debris or waste
General Requirements -
- Over 5 years experience as a flooring installer needed.
- Must be organised, confident, approachable and handle situations with professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Be honest and trustworthy
- Punctual and reliable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot installation issues
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
- Be able to organise tasks and meet client deadlines and have a 'can do' attitude.
-CSCS Card NVQ 2 minimum.
- Clean Driving license.
- Keep a clean and tidy personal and vehicle appearance and conduct themselves in a way that reflects the professionalism and standards of WestBury Flooring Ltd.
