Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistants/Support Workers to join our team. Duties
- Assisting clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Supporting patients with medication administration in accordance with care plans
- Providing specialised care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other cognitive impairments
- Preparing nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
- Assisting with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Engaging clients in social activities and behavioural management strategies
- Documenting care provided and updating case management records accurately
- Driving clients to appointments or outings as required
- Collaborating with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Responding promptly to emergencies with appropriate first aid procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in nursing homes, care homes, or home care environments is desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Certification in first aid is advantageous
- Experience with Alzheimer’s, dementia, hospice care, or behaviour management is beneficial
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and assist with mobility support
- Strong communication skills and a caring demeanour
- Valid driving licence for transportation duties
- Compassionate attitude with a commitment to patient-centred care

Pay: £30,420.00-£34,758.49 per year
