Join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will support the kitchen’s smooth operation by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with basic food preparation with chef training if wanted, ensuring all areas meet the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

Duties
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, work surfaces, and floors to uphold strict hygiene standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and organizing supplies
- Support chefs and kitchen staff by fetching ingredients and ensuring all items are readily available for service
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed diligently
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times during daily activities
- Help with setting up dining areas or serving stations as needed during busy service periods
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques is preferred but not essential
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
- Passion for hospitality, food service, and maintaining high cleanliness standards
