We're looking for a reliable and friendly Minibus Driver to join our team providing school transport services across Bristol and the surrounding areas.
The role involves transporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to and from school in a 9 to 16-seat minibus. We're looking for someone who is patient, dependable and takes pride in providing a safe and professional service.
Duties include:
- Driving a minibus on a designated school transport route.
- Carrying out and recording daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects.
- Making sure passengers are seated safely and wearing seatbelts.
- Keeping the vehicle clean and presentable.
- Communicating professionally with pupils, parents, passenger assistants and school staff.
- Be willing to cover alternative routes when required to meet operational needs
- Following company procedures and safeguarding requirements.
What you'll need:
- Full UK driving licence with D1 entitlement.
- Valid Driver CPC card.
- Enhanced DBS check (helpful but not essential).
- A professional, reliable and punctual approach to work.
- Good communication skills and a calm manner.
- Previous minibus or school transport experience is helpful but not essential.
