We are looking for kind and caring care assistants to assist a lovely young lady in her own purpose built fully adapted to her needs home. In the Ashford Kent Area.
Description
The client has come complex care needs due to an acquired brain injury she sustained some years ago.
The role consists of all her daily living needs being met including personal care, meal prep/ cooking and feeding, administering medication as needed. Plus, full domestic duties.
The role also includes a good level of social aspects to it for example- Shopping, discos, Art days, cinema, days out of the client’s choice and even the opportunity to go abroad for a holiday.
You will also be required to support for professional appointments GP, Hospital, Dentist etc.
Hours of work
We are offering 12- 24 hours a week and there is opportunity to pick up more hours.
The shift pattern is 08:00- 20:00 and 20:00- 08:00. This is not a lone working position there will always be two staff members supporting.
Requirements
- For this position a clean full uk driving licence is required as you will be driving a specialist vehicle.
- Experience is preferred but not essential as full training and shadowing will be provided.
- An enhanced DBS check is required for this position.
