Veterinary Receptionist (Part-Time)

Are you an experienced Veterinary Receptionist looking to join a friendly, supportive practice? We have an exciting opportunity to become part of our welcoming team at Mark Nelson Vets in Westerham.
Working Hours
- Monday & Tuesday: 8:30am – 1:00pm
- Every other Saturday: 8:30am – 12:00pm
You'll be joining a close-knit, experienced team consisting of 2.5 vets, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses and a part-time receptionist.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you'll play a vital role in creating a warm and professional experience from the moment they contact us. This is a busy and rewarding position, requiring excellent communication skills, organisation, and a genuine passion for providing outstanding client care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting clients and their pets with a friendly, professional manner
- Answering telephone calls and responding to emails
- Booking appointments and managing the appointment diary
- Processing payments and client invoices
- Liaising with clients and supporting the clinical team
- Providing exceptional customer service in a busy practice environment
About You
- Previous veterinary reception experience is preferred; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Friendly, approachable and compassionate
- Calm under pressure with excellent communication skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident using computer systems and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
