Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Care Workers to provide high-quality in-home care to clients in Sunderland SR2 and the surrounding area. The role involves supporting individuals with a variety of needs, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life. Pay starts at £17.25 per hour.
Responsibilities
Deliver personalised care to clients, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs according to individual plans
Administer prescribed medication safely and accurately
Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment
Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being
Follow care plans diligently whilst respecting client confidentiality and dignity
Report any concerns or changes in client condition to the supervising team promptly
Requirements
Previous experience working in a care role is required
Candidates must already be registered on the DBS Update Service and be able to provide a valid, up-to-date DBS check
Strong communication skills and a caring, empathetic nature
Reliable and flexible approach to working hours
Valid driving licence preferred for travel between client visits
