About the Role
We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated Senior Carer to join our team at Grenham Bay Care Home. In this important role, you’ll help create a safe, comfortable, and homely environment for our residents, ensuring they receive the highest quality care that’s tailored to their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the care team to ensure excellent care for our residents.
- Make sure residents’ needs are met with kindness, respect, and dignity.
- Act as a role model, promoting best practices and professionalism.
- Assist with care planning, maintaining daily records, and facilitating handovers.
- Support and guide both new and experienced team members in their roles.
- Communicate effectively with residents’ families and other professionals.
- Monitor residents’ well-being and respond to any changes in their condition with care.
About You
- Previous experience in a residential care or senior care role is essential.
- You’ll need a Level 2 in Health & Social Care, and working towards Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
- You should be confident in leading a team and supporting your colleagues.
- You’re caring, reliable, and organised.
- Strong communication skills are a must, especially when working with families and other professionals.
- You’re passionate about providing exceptional care and making a real difference in the lives of our residents.
