Noble Hound Grooming is looking for an experienced dog groomer to join our growing independent salon based within Crossways Kennels in Betchworth, Surrey.
Established just over a year ago, Noble Hound Grooming has built a reputation of high quality grooming, excellent customer care and a strong commitment to dog welfare. We pride ourselves on creating a calm, low stress environment for both dogs and groomers.
This is a trusted and valued position with real responsibility and is an exciting opportunity for an experienced groomer who enjoys working independently within a small team, and is able to handle dogs of all temperaments with patience and care.
Our recruitment process is relaxed and informal. Suitable applicants will be invited to attend an informal interview, followed by a second stage half-day paid trial within the salon.
About the role
- Full time or part time position available
- Start time: 8am
- Target of 5 full grooms per day (adjusted for size and breed)
- Manage your own diary and appointments
- Deliver high quality grooms tailored to each dogs needs
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
- Groom in the salon independently when required
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, welfare and professionalism
What we’re looking for
- City & Guilds Level 3 Dog Grooming qualification or equivalent (essential)
- 2+ years professional grooming experience (essential)
- Ability to confidently groom a range of breeds and temperaments to a high standard
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, trustworthy and capable of working independently
- Commitment to dog welfare and quality grooming
- Calm, reliable and confident handling dogs of all temperaments
