Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Garden Maintenance Operative to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine gardening tasks such as planting, pruning, weeding, mowing, and edging to keep outdoor spaces tidy and flourishing
- Use hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems safely and effectively to maintain gardens and landscaped areas
- Operate landscaping equipment including trimmers, blowers, lawnmowers, and hedge cutters with precision
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and report any significant concerns or damage
Requirements
- Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is highly desirable
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, irrigation systems, and gardening equipment
- Knowledge of plant care techniques and growing practices
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of safety procedures when handling tools and equipment
- Enthusiasm for gardening and a proactive approach to maintaining outdoor spaces
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- 40/45hours a week with optional overtime.
- Pension & 28 days holidays a year.
- Must be capable of running a team
Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
