Post 1: 28.5 hours per week (Mon, Wed & Fri, 7.45am-5.45pm)
Post 2: 37 hours per week (flexible to cover between 7.45am-5.45pm)
Both full year 52 weeks (not term time only)
Contract Type: Temporary to start as soon as possible

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioners to join our team and work within our Centre.
About the role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be an integral member of our team, helping to ensure that high-quality practice and provision is maintained at all times.
You will work holistically with very young children and families, building positive relationships and supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference through meaningful interactions, engaging experiences and responsive, child-centred practice.
- Holds a Level 2/3 qualification/Licence to Practice in Early Years Childcare and Education
- Can demonstrate positive, high-quality interactions with very young children
- Has a warm, nurturing and empathetic nature
- Has a sound knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and how this supports children's learning and development into subsequent phases
- Is flexible, enthusiastic and willing to contribute fully to the aims and objectives of the Centre
- Can build and maintain positive and effective relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Has excellent communication skills and enjoys being a proactive and supportive member of a complex team
Safeguarding
The Centre is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and the successful candidates will have to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Check. Satisfactory references, 1 professional (from current or most recent employer) and 1 character will also be required. Online searches will be conducted on shortlisted candidates.
