Kivells is seeking a motivated and organised individual with office-based experience to join our busy and successful Lettings team. This varied role offers the opportunity to build strong relationships with landlords and tenants, while gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of residential lettings. From administrative duties and property inspections to accompanying viewings and coordinating maintenance, no two days are the same.

The Role
We are looking for a Part-Time Lettings Administrator to join our Launceston office, with occasional cover required across our other Devon and Cornwall branches.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, proactive and highly organised, with the ability to manage a varied workload and work effectively on their own initiative. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your property career within a supportive and experienced team.
About You
You will be:
- Professional, personable and confident when dealing with clients
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- A strong communicator, both in person and over the telephone
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications
- Experienced in an administrative or office-based role
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Previous estate agency or lettings experience would be advantageous, and ARLA qualifications are welcomed, although neither is essential as full training will be provided. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Meeting and welcoming clients, landlords and tenants
- Managing incoming and outgoing telephone calls
- Arranging and coordinating property viewings
- Acting as a point of contact for tenant enquiries and issues
- Liaising with landlords regarding tenancy matters
- Organising maintenance and repair works
- Preparing inventories and undertaking related administration
- Producing property particulars, window displays and marketing mailshots
- Maintaining accurate records on the company database
- Managing diaries, appointments and valuations
- Ensuring compliance with current lettings legislation
- Administering Right to Rent and Anti-Money Laundering checks
- Maintaining effective administrative systems and procedures
- Providing administrative support to the Residential Sales Department as required

Working Hours
- Minimum of 20 hours per week (approximately three days)
- Flexible working pattern available by agreement
- Preference for availability on Fridays and alternate Saturday mornings (8:45am to 12:00 noon)
