We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. Duties
- Prepare and review legal documents related to property transactions, including contracts and deeds
- liaising with clients
- Conduct title searches and coordinate with title companies to verify property ownership and encumbrances
- Manage case files using legal case management systems
- Assist with the drafting of legal correspondence and documentation for conveyancing matters
- Coordinate communication between clients, lenders, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions
- Review documents for accuracy and completeness; proof read and transcribe legal materials with precision
- Maintain organized filing systems for all conveyancing files and ensure timely data entry and document management
- Support project management activities related to ongoing conveyancing cases to meet deadlines efficiently
- Provide executive administrative support when required, including scheduling appointments and managing correspondence
Experience
- Paralegal experience in conveyancing is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of legal administrative processes and document review procedures
- Experience using document management systems
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Effective communication skills for interviewing clients and coordinating with various parties
- Demonstrated attention to detail in proofreading, transcription, and drafting legal documents
- Ability to handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, phone etiquette, and general administrative support with professionalism
