We are opening a brand new cafe and bistro on Elmbrook Bicester in Sept/Oct and are looking for staff to join our team

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide excellent service throughout their visit
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and serving counters
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure all beverages and food items meet health standards
- Handle cash register transactions efficiently, including basic math calculations for change and totals
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly and keep lines moving smoothly
Skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in handling beverages and food items
- Prior barista experience or familiarity with coffee brewing equipment is highly desirable
- Strong serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks accurately and efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, change calculation, and order totaling
- Excellent time management to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Clear communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
