Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, beverages, and light snacks with precision and care
- Engage warmly with customers, taking orders efficiently and providing friendly service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating zones
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure a hygienic environment for staff and customers
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed
- Manage cash register transactions accurately using POS systems and handle basic math calculations confidently
- Support team members during busy periods by taking on various roles such as serving, cleaning, or restocking supplies
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with coffee-making techniques and customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards to uphold hygiene practices at all times
- Experience in serving customers in fast-paced environments with excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks with attention to detail and cleanliness
