We are now seeking Full Time Team Leader - Assistant to join our team at our lovely Cafe at Edenmill Farm on Stockiemuir Road. Just on the outskirts of Milngavie.
This just isn’t a normal cafe -we have Accommodation, Host Events, Animals Alpaca Trekking, and a popular Christmas Tree Farm
Open 7 Days, and closing at 5pm. This is by far a great position to encourage a healthy work life balance. hard to get in hospitality these days. As a member of our team (Potential of Management), you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our cafe. Not only are we a cafe, we have Alpaca Trekking, Petting Zoo, and Birthday Party events all year round. So we are recruiting to grow our team for the future!
Edenmill Farm is expanding and we have recently launched our Edenmill Rooms at the Farm. Ensuite bedroom accommodation available again all year round.

Duties:
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including dining area, kitchen, and restrooms
- Restock supplies as needed throughout the day
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Cafe, Restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
