An exciting opportunity has arisen, we are recruiting for a Junior or Senior Sous Chef to support our Head Chef & team as our business continues to grow.
The right candidate must be passionate about cooking fresh seasonal dishes and keeps up to date with current industry trends.
Chef Role:
- Assume overall charge of the busy kitchen operation in Head Chefs absence
- Ensure food is delivered to a consistently high standard
- Liaise with the senior management team to plan and develop menus and events
- Work with the senior kitchen team to deliver innovative and seasonal menu specials
- Speak with suppliers to source the best produce available
- Develop and support junior members of the team
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
Candidate Specifications:
- Must have experience in high quality restaurants and gastropubs
- Be professional and forward thinking at all times
- Willingness to develop managerial skills
- Be able to lead a large team and busy operation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
