Hours
This is a part time position - 17.5 hours per week
Service covers Monday - Friday: days to be discussed with succesful applicant
Salary
This position is full time and you will receive a salary of £13,656 to £15,638 per annum
Location
Scarborough, Harrogate or York - you will be based at one of these hubs (to be discussed with succesful candidate)
Travel across the North Yorkshire region

As our new Reconnect Support Time & Recovery Navigator:
- Be part of an extended team working across the Reconnect service
- Liaise with a wide range of services such as the police, probation, courts and legal services as well as both inpatient and community health and social care services
- Be involved in the daily support of children and adults, including those from hard-to-reach communities to engage and navigate through the Criminal Justice System
- Support access to the full scope of identified health needs, including substance misuse (alcohol and drugs), mental and physical health, homelessness, learning disabilities, exploitation, safeguarding and social care issues
- support the health needs leaving the prison establishment within a 12-week period or less.
- The aim of the service is to reduce reoffending by addressing the health and social needs of the service user and ensuring onward referrals are made to ensure continuity of care provision

Qualifications and skills required:
- Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and/or Social Care or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience of working with service users, face to face, with a variety of health needs.
- Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
- A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
