Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen team
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- Serve dishes promptly, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any needs
- Promote menu items through upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and smooth operations
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Familiarity with food preparation, serving, and basic math skills for order accuracy and transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations adds value to your role
- Strong time management skills to handle fast-paced environments efficiently
- Experience in culinary settings or kitchen environments is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining excellent customer service skills
