We are now looking for a Strategic Sales & Business Analyst to join our Business Affairs & Licensing team!
About the role
You will report to the Head of Licensing in the Business Affairs and Licensing team, part of the Strategy and Business Development department and will partner closely with senior leaders across GNM to support and develop new licensing opportunities that complement and propel GNM's commercial growth.

Conduct deep-market evaluations of the media, technology, and AI landscapes to identify emerging trends and untapped licensing opportunities to expand GNM's reach and revenue streams.

Bring technical proficiency and deliver data-driven insights based on market shifts, client behaviour, client feedback and sales metrics to support the unlocking of transformative revenue streams.

Lead industry evaluations to prioritise sectors with the highest potential for measurable, sustainable impact and long-term growth.

Develop commercial strategies, including outreach strategies, that generate a high-value pipeline of licensing deals across various global industries, with key focus on high-impact deals across AI ecosystem

Provide regular strategic briefings to the Head of Licensing regarding pipeline health, market risks, and competitive positioning.

Quantify the success of initiatives using KPIs related to revenue growth, market penetration, and the "transformative" impact of new business models.

Work with Technical Product Manager to ensure delivery of technical priorities, including the seamless delivery of content feeds and API integrations for licensees, and ensure that resources are allocated to the initiatives in accordance with agreed strategic objectives.
About you

Extensive experience in strategy, business development, management consulting, or corporate strategy role (direct experience in news publishing, content licensing or intellectual property is preferred)

Understanding of the mechanics of content licensing (legal complexities, rights, commercial models, content distribution).

Understanding of the AI and software technology landscape, including current trends and competitive dynamics

Advanced strategic modeling skills

Project Management or Business Analysis certification

Technical literacy: Ability to speak the language of engineers regarding API documentation, JSON feeds, and data ingestion.

Data visualisation- to present market trends to senior leaders
