You will also help develop and improve HR processes, policies and documentation, ensuring our people practices remain effective, compliant and aligned with evolving employment legislation.
- Manage employee relations cases from start to finish, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, conduct and capability matters.
- Provide practical, commercially focused HR advice and guidance to managers, supporting positive employee and business outcomes.
- Coach managers through investigations, meetings, hearings and appeals, ensuring compliance with company policy and best practice.
- Draft and review employee relations documentation, including invitation letters, outcome letters and appeal correspondence.
- Attend meetings and hearings to provide procedural support and take notes where required.
- Maintain accurate employee relations records and documentation within HR systems.
- Work collaboratively with the HR Coordinators and HR Administration team to deliver an efficient, professional and customer-focused HR service.
- Support organisational change initiatives, including restructures, consultation processes and TUPE transfers.
- Assist with the integration of acquired businesses by helping align HR policies, procedures and people practices.
- Support the review and continuous improvement of HR policies, processes and documentation.
- Monitor changes in employment legislation and HR best practice, helping to implement updates that ensure ongoing compliance.
- Maintain GDPR and confidentiality standards at all times.
- Escalate complex or high-risk employee relations matters to the HR Manager where appropriate.
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor or Employee Relations-focused role.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience managing a broad range of employee relations cases.
- Confident coaching and influencing managers at all levels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting organisational change, consultation processes, TUPE transfers or business integrations would be advantageous.
- Experience working within a multi-site, operational or service-led environment would be advantageous.
- CIPD qualified or working towards qualification is desirable.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Lodge Security Group during a period of growth and transformation. You’ll play a key role in supporting managers across the business, strengthening employee relations practices, improving people processes and helping integrate newly acquired businesses into a consistent and effective people framework.
In return, you’ll join a supportive and collaborative People Team where your expertise will have a genuine impact on both our colleagues and the continued success of the business.
If you’re passionate about employee relations, developing managers and delivering practical HR solutions in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.
