£14.10 per hour (18+)

A range of contract sizes are available, starting from 16 hours per week, including 20 and 28-hour contracts.

Our shifts are generally worked in 4-hour blocks, with a variety of early morning, daytime, evening and weekend shifts available.

Bakery hours: You must be available to work between 5am–12 noon

Your shifts will be rota bases within these hours, based on your contracted hours.

As a Store Team Member, you may also be required to support other areas of the store across our wider operating hours of 6am–midnight.

Be the smile that makes a difference: As a dedicated Store Team Member, you will be the face of Home Bargains, providing enthusiastic customer service by assisting with product queries and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Teamwork makes the dream work: Whether you're watering plants, baking fresh goods, stocking shelves, or keeping displays and workspaces clean, you'll support your team to maintain high standards across the store.

Keep the momentum going: Take charge during the fill shift by unloading deliveries and swiftly getting stock out on the shelves, making sure everything’s ready for our customers to find what they need.

No two days are the same: You will be trained across multiple areas of the business. Your versatility will shine as you handle tills, manage cash transactions, restock shelves, and adapt to various roles in the Café, Bakery, or Garden Centre.
Minimum Criteria To Apply
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, approachable, and ready to make a real difference in-store. You’ll enjoy working as part of a team and helping customers have a great experience. Ideally, you will have:

Due to health and safety requirements within our Bakery, applicants for this role must be aged 18 or over.

As part of the role, you will be required to complete a Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification, which will be provided by the company

You must be available to start in October( Date to TBC) to complete the required induction and training ahead of our store opening on 14 November 2026.

Training: Full training will be provided. As part of our new store opening, there may also be opportunities for some colleagues to complete additional training in the UK. Where required, further details will be discussed during the recruitment process, with reasonable travel and accommodation costs covered by the company.

You must have the required entitlement to work in Guernsey.
Successful candidates are provided with on-the-job training and gain essential transferable retail and hospitality skills.
