After School Care - Manager
Location: Primary School in Hampstead, NW3 6AE
Start date: ASAP
During term time throughout the school year. Holiday Camp work is also available during school holidays.
Days: Monday to Friday (term time only)
Times: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Let's Leap is looking for a skilled and talented after-school club manager to deliver an engaging after-school care programme from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm for children aged 3 - 5 years.
It's an amazing independent school with excellent and cohesive community culture. You will be working alongside a Let's Leap activity leader to keep children stimulated with enjoyable activities after school.
Essential Requirements:
- DBS clearance (Essential)
- Childcare NVQ level 3 or equivalent (Essential)
- UKCC sports coaching qualification(s) (Desirable)
- Experience delivering engaging after-school activities in UK primary schools (Essential)
What you will be doing:
- Set up zoned playground activities to provide structure and increase pupil participation by offering different active games during after school.
- Provide positive engagement and interaction.
- Inclusion - Provide activities for all children.
- Ensure activities are age and ability appropriate and are using the equipment and space safely.
- Support with behaviour management in the club.
- Promote Health & Safety in the club.
- Review & reflect on delivered activities.
- Use Let's Leap resources to assist with all planning
- Inspire children to develop skills and lead healthy active lifestyles
- Supervise children during after school care in line with policies & procedures
- Follow Let's Leap and assigned schools' behaviour management policies.
- Give feedback to Let's Leap management team.
- Maintain knowledge of Let's Leap policies & procedures and implement them where appropriate.
- Tidy away equipment and store correctly i.e. pe cupboard, outdoor/indoor storage or other designated areas.
