Warwick Road Primary School is seeking a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly team.
You will play an important role in supporting the wellbeing, safety and happiness of our pupils during the lunchtime period
This is fixed for a year initially, however it may be extended after this time
Contract details
Part-time, term-time only
Fixed term - 2 September 2026 to 31 August 2027 (this may be extended)
Days: Monday – Friday
Hours: 11.20 am – 1:05 pm
Salary: Grade 3
Start date: 2 September 2026
Pay -£4,813
Key Responsibilities
Supervising pupils in the playground and indoor areas during lunchtime
Encouraging positive behaviour and good manners
Supporting children with safe and enjoyable play activities
Assisting with minor first aid incidents where required
Ensuring the safety and welfare of all pupils at all times
Working closely with school staff to maintain a positive lunchtime environment
We are looking for someone who:
Enjoys working with children
Is patient, caring and approachable
Can work effectively as part of a team
Has good communication and behaviour management skills
Is reliable, punctual and organised
Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
