Deputy Site Supervisor – Marine & Oakridge Surgery

Hours: 37.5–40 hours per week

South Coast Medical Group is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Deputy Site Supervisor to join the team at Marine & Oakridge Surgery.
Working alongside the Practice Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the practice, supporting the Reception team, coordinating operational activities and helping to deliver an excellent service to our patients.
About the Role
As Deputy Supervisor, you will:
- Support the Practice Supervisor with the day-to-day running of the practice.
- Provide Supervisor cover in the absence of the Practice Supervisor.
- Supervise and support the Reception team.
- Assist with staff recruitment, induction, training and development.
- Support rota planning and annual leave management.
- Help resolve operational and administrative issues.
- Provide reception and administrative cover when required.
- Ensure the practice continues to deliver an excellent patient experience.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working within General Practice, healthcare or a customer service environment, with previous supervisory or leadership experience.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities.
- The ability to motivate and support colleagues.
- A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good IT skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
