Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Breakdown Coordinator to join our logistics team. In this vital role, you will be the central hub for managing vehicle and equipment breakdowns, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption to supply chain operations. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help coordinate repairs, track incidents, and maintain seamless operations across our transportation network.
No experience necessary as full and ongoing training given.
Duties
- Monitor and respond promptly to vehicle or equipment breakdown reports using transportation management systems (TMS) and other tracking tools.
- Coordinate with Customers, maintenance teams, drivers, and third-party service providers to schedule repairs and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Maintain accurate data entry of breakdown incidents, repair statuses, and related documentation.
- Communicate effectively with drivers and Customers.
40 hours per week, once training is in place the shift range will be over 7 days, nights cover may sometimes be requested.
£12.71 per hour.
