Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Barista to operate our coffee concept. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Greet customers warmly, taking their orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and store, including cleaning equipment and work surfaces regularly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system with professionalism.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts.
- Provide friendly assistance to customers, answering questions about menu items and making recommendations.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
- Ability to work efficiently.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings and afternoons as required.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions accurately.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the role.
Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
