About the Company
We are a premier, highly successful independent digital network operator based in the heart of the city. We own and manage our own network infrastructure, data centres, and digital exchanges throughout the region.
Unlike the broader alternative telecom market right now, our business model is completely different. We are entirely independent, debt-free, profitable, and scale naturally without the pressure of venture capital or outside institutional investors.
Led by a highly experienced engineering team with decades of industry expertise, we offer true long-term career stability and job security. We are trusted to deliver high-capacity infrastructure for global brands and major regional events.
Is This Role For You?
If you have recently experienced the instability, restructures, or redundancies affecting the UK fibre and telecom sector, we offer a safe, reliable long-term career home.
Our engineering teams do not work on boring, repetitive domestic broadband installations. Instead, you will be working on dynamic commercial infrastructure projects.
Your week will involve executing line-of-sight wireless surveys, installing premium enterprise networks at high-profile commercial sites, and setting up temporary high-speed connectivity links for active television/film productions, major regional music festivals, and premium hotels.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete professional line-of-sight surveys and install high-capacity wireless and wired data networks at commercial client premises.
- Install internal and external structured data cabling, mount external infrastructure securely, and terminate all connections to strict engineering standards.
- Deploy rapid-response, temporary high-speed network infrastructure to support live media productions, broadcasts, and regional events.
- Manage and maintain your assigned company vehicle, tools, and installation equipment responsibly.
Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in commercial telecom installations, wireless networking, data cabling, or fibre deployment.
- Skills: Fully comfortable working at heights, managing external building mountings, and executing clean, weatherproof cable routing. Ability to test and sign off technical works.
- Licence: A valid, clean UK driving licence is mandatory.
- Mindset: A professional who takes genuine, old-school pride in the neatness and safety of their craftsmanship.
How to Apply
We do not review automated or generic applications. To verify you are a real candidate who has read this description, please complete the following steps:
- Submit your current, up-to-date CV.
- In the message/cover letter box, write a single sentence naming the most unique or high-profile building or site you have personally installed technical hardware on.
Note: Applications submitted with a blank message box or a standard automated template will be instantly removed from consideration by our system.
