Duties
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure comfort and safety
- Support patients with medication administration following care plans and protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary
- Engage residents in social activities, hobbies, or light exercise to promote mental and physical health
- Provide transportation for appointments or outings, ensuring safe driving practices
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, medication schedules, and any incidents or observations
Requirements
- Proven experience in supported living or home care environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient care procedures including medication administration
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting residents with mobility or transfers
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for transportation duties
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain training upon hire
- Strong communication skills and compassionate approach to caregiving
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings as needed

Pay: £12.95-£13.50 per hour
