Apply now to join our team of dedicated professionals. SpaDental are looking to recruit a highly capable and experienced Group Compliance Manager to work alongside our Clinical and Operations Teams, overseeing compliance across our group of dental practices, predominantly based in the South West.
This is a leadership role with responsibility for developing, implementing and maintaining compliance systems across the group, ensuring all practices meet regulatory, clinical and governance standards.
About the role
This will initially be a part time position (4 days per week), with the potential to develop into a full time role for the right candidate. The role is predominantly home based (ideally Bristol area) with regular travel to practices.
You will:
- Lead on group-wide compliance strategy and delivery
- Act as the first point of contact for all practice compliance matters
- Work with Practice Managers to ensure understanding and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Oversee compliance data, trackers and reporting, escalating issues and driving remedial actions
- Develop, review and implement policies, audits and risk assessments across the group
- Chair regular compliance meetings and drive peer learning between practices
- Support practices through CQC inspections and liaise with regulators where required
- Provide training, mentoring and support to Practice Managers, including onboarding and development
- Work with Directors and the Operations Team to support wider business performance and development
What we are looking for
You will be an experienced compliance professional with the confidence to lead, challenge and support across multiple sites.
Are you:
- Proactive, organised and able to work autonomously
- A confident leader with experience managing or influencing teams
- Experienced in developing and implementing policies and governance systems
- Comfortable analysing compliance data and driving improvement
- A strong communicator, able to work with both clinical and non-clinical teams
Do you have:
- Significant experience of compliance within a regulated environment (essential)
- Strong knowledge of CQC dental regulations (essential)
- Experience supporting or preparing for CQC inspections
- Experience training, mentoring or developing managers
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
Ideally:
- GDC registration (or previous clinical background)
- Experience working across multiple sites or within a group structure
Practical requirements
- Based within reach of the South West (ideally Bristol)
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Willingness to travel regularly to practices (minimum one visit per practice annually; occasional overnight stays required)
