Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems
- Support patients with their queries, offering reassurance and clear communication throughout their visit
- Manage appointment scheduling and organise clinic workflow efficiently
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the dental practice at all times
- Adhere to infection control protocols and health & safety standards
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients
- Strong organisational skills to manage appointments and maintain accurate records
- Good IT skills for handling digital patient records and practice management software
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of nursing practices relevant to dentistry is desirable but not essential; training will be provided if necessary
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
