Retail Tyre Fitter – Tanvic Group Newark
£29,250+ (over 21) + overtime | 44 hrs per week
Tanvic Group, a long‑established family business with a great team culture and strong customer reputation is looking for a motivated Retail Tyre Fitter to join our busy Newark workshop. If you’re enthusiastic, driven and bring a real ‘can‑do’ attitude, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Tyre fitting on passenger cars and light vans.
- Puncture repairs carried out to BSAU standards.
- Tyre inspections including tread depth, pressure checks and defect identification.
- Wheel balancing and alignment assistance (training provided).
- Delivering excellent customer service and clearly explaining completed work.
- Maintaining workshop tools, equipment and a clean working environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Full UK driving licence (max 6 points).
- Experience in tyre fitting is preferred, but not essential.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, motivated and comfortable in a fast‑paced workshop.
- A positive team player with a proactive approach.
Hours
- 44 hours per week
- Monday–Friday: 8.00am–5.00pm
- Saturday: 8.00am–12.00pm
