This role is focused entirely on ensuring high-quality, compliant white top reinstatement, delivering accurate finishing work to the highest standard on utility and highways projects. - Ensure all surface reinstatements comply with SROH standards, client specifications, and NRSWA requirements.
- Inspect excavations and backfill works before completing white top finishes to ensure compliance and prevent potential defects.
- Undertake cutting back, compaction checks, edging, levelling, and surface finishing to deliver a durable and accurate reinstatement.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, teams, and client representatives to coordinate site access and ensure smooth workflow.
- Record all completed reinstatement work using handheld devices, including photos, measurements, and compliance notes.
- Identify any issues on site—incorrect depths, poor compaction, unsafe edges, trip hazards—and escalate or correct immediately.
- Maintain all tools, equipment, and reinstatement materials to ensure consistent output quality.
- Provide guidance and support to reinstatement crews to ensure the excavation is ready for white topping.
- Ensure all works are delivered safely, keeping sites clean, tidy, and compliant with permit and traffic management requirements.
