Consulting Arboriculturist North West London
The role will offer a qualified arboriculturist an opportunity to work within our insurance service division. You will be working directly with our Principal Arboricultural Consultant and will receive direct mentoring on trees and the law, the planning acts, trees and insurance, trees and policy issues and trees and building pathology. You will therefore receive extensive training, mentoring and support and we would want a candidate who wishes to further his educational base to Chartered level which we will support.
Specifically, the successful applicants will have the following key responsibilities:
· Undertaking surveys, recommending necessary tree management, and preparing reports.
· Providing support to the insurance services mitigation and contracts teams.
· Complete site meetings with clients, policyholders/third parties and Local Authorities.
The successful applicant will:
· Have a Degree, Foundation Degree or Diploma in arboriculture.
· Demonstrate previous relevant experience in arboriculture.
· Have a high standard of tree and plant identification and knowledge.
· Be a strong communicator with excellent customer service skills.
· Adhere to and understand the importance of health & safety and risk assessment.
· Have a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
