We are seeking a motivated and reliable Server/Kitchen Hand to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a courteous and efficient manner, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Assist with meal preparation and food presentation, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining area, and service stations in accordance with food safety regulations
- Restock supplies and organise utensils, crockery, and ingredients as needed
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and patrons
- Assist with catering events or special functions as required
- Handle customer enquiries professionally and courteously, providing excellent service at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is advantageous
- Basic cooking and meal preparation skills are desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions accurately
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends or evenings if necessary
