To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
· Applicants must be aged 18+ with a valid SIA License.
· Must have a 5-year checkable work or back to school history.
· Proof of right to work and live in the UK.
Essential Criteria
· Valid UK driving license with the ability to drive company vehicles.
· Valid SIA License (Door Supervision or Security Guarding as appropriate).
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks across locations.
· Strong communication and report-writing skills.
· Good situational awareness and problem-solving ability.
· Flexible approach to shift work, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
· Ability to remain calm under pressure and follow procedures.
Essential Criteria
· Previous mobile patrol, keyholding, alarm response, or security experience.
· Experience working in public environments or parks operations.
· First Aid qualification.
· Knowledge of lone working procedures.
· Familiarity with electronic reporting and patrol systems.

As part of our continued growth, we are recruiting Mobile Patrol / Parks Locking Officers to support our mobile operations team.
These are driving-based roles operating across multiple client locations and public spaces.
This position combines the responsibilities of mobile security response and scheduled parks/building access control. Officers will be cross trained to perform duties across both service areas, creating a varied role that requires professionalism, flexibility, independence, and strong decision-making skills.
Role Purpose
The Mobile Patrol / Parks Locking Officer is responsible for carrying out scheduled patrols, lock and unlock services, alarm response, site inspections, and operational support across a portfolio of client locations.
Working independently and supported by the Control Room, officers act as a visible security presence, respond appropriately to incidents, and ensure all assigned sites remain safe, secure, and operational.
This role involves regular driving between locations and requires officers to maintain high standards of customer service, reporting, and professional conduct at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Mobile Patrol & Security Response
- Conduct scheduled and random mobile security patrols of client premises to deter unauthorised access, anti-social behaviour, criminal damage, and other security risks.
- Carry out external and internal site inspections in accordance with assignment instructions.
- Attend alarm activations and security incidents promptly and professionally.
- Investigate alarms and unusual activity while following company escalation procedures.
- Secure vulnerable premises and take immediate action to minimise risk where appropriate.
- Liaise with emergency services, clients, contractors, and internal management when required.
- Support incident management and maintain calm, professional communication during emergency situations.
Parks Locking & Access Control Duties
- Carry out scheduled opening and locking of parks, recreational facilities, and designated public spaces in accordance with operational timetables.
- Ensure gates, barriers, buildings, and access points are opened and secured correctly.
- Conduct visual checks of park areas prior to locking to confirm public safety and site clearance.
- Report maintenance concerns, vandalism, damage, hazards, or suspicious activity identified during inspections.
- Engage professionally with members of the public where required and encourage compliance with site closing procedures.
Operational Support Duties
- Assist with deployment, transportation, and movement of security personnel between assignments as operationally required.
- Deliver security equipment, keys, documentation, and operational supplies to sites.
- Support site setup and operational readiness activities where necessary.
- Maintain effective communication with the Control Room and provide regular status updates throughout shifts.
- Respond flexibly to changing operational requirements and priority tasking.
Reporting & Administration
- Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, alarm attendance records, and vehicle checks.
- Maintain detailed written records in accordance with company procedures.
- Record and escalate incidents, defects, and customer concerns promptly.
- Ensure all company documentation is completed to required standards.
Vehicle & Equipment Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely, professionally, and in accordance with UK road traffic legislation.
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report defects immediately.
- Maintain company equipment in clean and serviceable condition.
- Ensure keys, and security assets always remain secure.
